During the visit, CM Saini met with local residents to inquire about their well-being. In a heartfelt gesture, the presiding saints first showered him with flowers and then with cash, expressing their respect and gratitude. CM Saini also received blessings from the gaddinashin (presiding) saints, Yugal Giri Ji Maharaj.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “The people of this region hold deep and unwavering devotion towards Shri Kameshwar Dham. The late Shri 1008 Muni Giri Ji Maharaj was a saint of the highest order, whose guidance provided spiritual direction to society.” He added that the gaddinashin saint Prahlad Giri, also known as Muni Giri Ji Maharaj, completed his worldly journey at the age of 84, leaving behind a revered legacy. The region around Kameshwar Dham is highly revered, and historical records suggest that the Pandavas themselves worshipped Lord Shiva here during the Mahabharata era.

On his way back, the Chief Minister’s convoy passed through Kuleri village, where locals, sitting around fires to keep warm, warmly welcomed him. Observing this, CM Saini halted his convoy, personally approached the residents, and engaged with them. He remarked on the cold weather, saying, “It’s quite chilly, so let’s sit here together and talk.” The Chief Minister then took a seat near the fire and held a public dialogue with the villagers, strengthening his bond with the local community.
