Banswara, Rajasthan: In a shocking and tragic incident in Banswara, a father attacked his own daughter and three-year-old son with an axe. The three-year-old sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot, while the daughter is critically injured. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the local community.

According to police reports, the accused, identified as Shaukat, had a dispute with a neighbor. His daughter, Kajal, tried to intervene and reason with him regarding the quarrel, but this enraged Shaukat further. He first assaulted his wife and then attacked his daughter and young son, Arbaz, with an axe in a fit of rage.
The horrifying attack occurred in the Jail Road area of Kotwali police station late in the evening. Despite immediate medical attention, Arbaz was declared dead at the hospital due to severe head injuries. Kajal is currently in critical condition receiving treatment.
Aftermath and Police Action
Following the attack, Shaukat fled the scene. The family rushed the injured children to the hospital, and the police took prompt action by reaching the hospital, gathering information, and taking Shaukat into custody for further interrogation.
