National Badminton Player Shreshtha Parmar Booked After Performing Dangerous Stunt on Car Roof in Bhopal

Bhopal, February 21, 2026: Shreshtha Parmar, a rising national-level badminton player from Bhopal, is now facing legal action after performing a life-threatening stunt on the roof of a moving car. The incident, which occurred on Ekant Park Road late at night, was captured on video and went viral on social media, prompting the Habibganj police to register a case.

The Stunt

The incident reportedly took place on the night of February 6–7 around 3 a.m. In the 23-second video circulating online, Parmar can be seen stepping out of the driver’s seat of a moving car. As the vehicle maintains its speed, he runs alongside it, opens the rear door, climbs onto the roof, and strikes a pose while waving his hands in the air. Friends traveling in another car followed closely behind, filming the entire stunt.

Social Media Backlash and Police Action

After the video went viral, the traffic police, led by officer Jitendra Ataria, filed a complaint with the Habibganj police station. Investigation revealed that the car (MP 04 CY 7686) used in the stunt is registered in the name of Parmar’s mother. Authorities have confirmed that strict legal action will be taken against both the player and the car owner to send a strong message to the youth.
