Pratapgarh: Under the leadership of Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra — a grand 10-day religious unity march — will take place from Delhi (Indraprastha) to Vrindavan between November 7 and 16. The march aims to unite Hindus globally under the banner of Sanatan Dharma and promote harmony beyond caste and community divisions.
Prominent political leader and Jansatta Dal (Loktantrik) National President Raja Bhaiya (Raghuraj Pratap Singh) has announced his participation in the march and urged Hindus across India and abroad to join the movement. Calling it a collective mission, he stated, “This journey is not of one individual, but of every Hindu who believes in the strength and unity of Sanatan Dharma.”
Beginning of the Padyatra
The Padyatra will begin in Delhi with sacred rituals including the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaj (religious flag), followed by blessings from saints and Acharyas, a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, and the national anthem. The march will then proceed toward Vrindavan, symbolizing devotion, cultural revival, and unity.
Objective of the Padyatra
According to Raja Bhaiya, the core objectives of the Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra include:
- Promoting awareness and unity among Hindus,
- Eradicating caste-based divisions, with the message “Casteism must end – all Hindus are brothers”,
- Supporting the construction of a grand temple at Lord Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura,
- Advocating for the cleanliness and conservation of River Yamuna, and
- Spreading the spirit of spiritual awakening and social harmony.
Raja Bhaiya emphasized that casteism remains the greatest weakness within Hindu society. “The more casteism grows, the weaker our unity becomes. This march is an effort to erase such divisions and bring the Sanatan community together as one,” he said.
Raja Bhaiya’s Commitment and Past Association
Raja Bhaiya confirmed that he would devote significant time to this 10-day journey, as he did in 2024, when he participated in Shastri’s Sanatan Hindu Padyatra in Jhansi. His continued association reflects his long-standing dedication to Sanatan causes and social harmony.
Bageshwar Dham’s Praise for Raja Bhaiya
Previously, Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri had publicly praised Raja Bhaiya, describing him as “a true devotee of Lord Hanuman and a genuine lover of Sanatan Dharma.” Shastri admired his humility and commitment to religious causes, saying, “Raja Bhaiya is soft-spoken, deeply spiritual, and constantly thinking about the welfare of Sanatan Dharma.”
A Call for Global Hindu Unity
As preparations for the Padyatra intensify, both Bageshwar Dham and Raja Bhaiya have appealed to devotees across India and abroad to join, even if for a single day, between November 7 and 16. The march is expected to witness mass participation from saints, devotees, and social leaders, echoing the message of “Ek Sanatan, Ek Bharat” (One Faith, One Nation).
