UP Police Recruitment 2025: Over 32,600 Vacancies Announced for Constables and Other Posts

Lucknow: Great news for job seekers in Uttar Pradesh! The UP Police has announced a massive recruitment drive for Constables, Jail Warders, PAC/Armed Police, Special Security Force, Women Battalion, and Mounted Police, with over 32,600 vacancies available. The official notification has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB), and online applications are now open at uppbpb.gov.in.

Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board. Candidates appearing in 12th or awaiting results are not eligible.
• Age Limit (as on 1 July 2025):
• Male candidates: 18–22 years (born between 2 July 2003 and 1 July 2007)
• Female candidates: 18–25 years
• Age relaxation applies for UP residents in OBC, SC/ST, and other reserved categories.
• Height Requirements:
• General/OBC/SC Male: 168 cm (ST Male: 160 cm)
• Female: 152 cm (ST Female: 147 cm)

Selection Process:

• Written Examination
• Document Verification
• Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Medical Examination

How to Apply:

1. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on uppbpb.gov.in using a valid email ID and mobile number.
2. Upload necessary documents via DigiLocker.
3. Fill in personal details and create a password.
4. Upload a recent photograph through webcam and scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format (20–50 KB).
5. Select preferred posts, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
6. Take a final printout of the application for reference.

Application Fee:

• General/EWS/OBC: ₹500
• SC/ST: ₹400
