Ghaziabad, UP: In a major move to ease traffic congestion, authorities in Ghaziabad are planning to make the busy Hapur Chungi–Dasna route completely signal-free. The initiative aims to reduce traffic snarls on one of the city’s most heavily used corridors, benefiting daily commuters and emergency services alike. The route, connecting the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and NH-9, often witnesses long delays due to multiple traffic signals. Vehicles can be stuck for 10–15 minutes at peak hours at key intersections, including Hapur Chungi, Govindpuram, and Kavi Nagar.
