Lucknow, Jan 30: Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel on Friday paid floral tributes to a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his death anniversary, officials said. An official statement said a tribute programme was organised at the Gandhi Auditorium in Jan Bhavan (formerly Raj Bhavan) to mark both the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation and Martyrs' Day. The programme was attended by the governor, along with officers and staff of the Raj Bhavan, who also offered floral tributes to Gandhi’s portrait.
