Candle March in Jaipur Demands Justice for Amayra After CBSE Report
Jaipur: Public outrage continues to grow over the tragic death of 9-year-old Amayra, a fourth-grade student at Neerja Modi School, who jumped from the school’s fourth floor on 1 November. Following the CBSE’s investigation, which found serious lapses on the part of the school management, a candle march was held on 22 November at Jaipur’s Shaheed Smarak, drawing thousands of concerned citizens.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a Show Cause Notice to Neerja Modi School after uncovering multiple lapses, including bullying, ignored safety protocols, and overall administrative negligence.
