Jaipur: Vehicle owners in Jaipur, beware! From 26 February, the city’s traffic police will adopt a stricter approach to illegal parking. Instead of towing vehicles with cranes, traffic authorities will now immobilize them on the spot by applying wheel locks. Unlocking the wheel will incur an additional fee, while a separate fine for the parking violation will also apply, effectively doubling the financial penalty. Fees for Unlocking Wheel Locks Under the new system, two- and three-wheeler owners will have to pay ₹100 for the first offense and ₹200 for repeated violations.
