I Am Deeply Hurt”: Brahmin Community Lawyer Files Petition Against IAS Santosh Verma Over Alleged Objectionable Remark
Indore: A fresh controversy has erupted in Madhya Pradesh after IAS officer Santosh Verma, the newly appointed President of the SC/ST Officers and Employees Association (AJAKS), was accused of making derogatory remarks about the Brahmin community. A 66-year-old lawyer has filed a petition in the Indore District Court demanding action against the officer.

Senior advocate Shailendra Dwivedi confirmed that he has submitted an application before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), requesting the court to direct the police to register a case under relevant legal provisions.
“I belong to the Brahmin community and was deeply hurt by the offensive and objectionable comments made by the officer,”Dwivedi stated.
