Dhanbad: Panic gripped the Jharia area of Dhanbad late Sunday night after a bomb was thrown at the residence of BJP MLA Ragini Singh. Fortunately, both explosive devices were not powerful, resulting in no casualties, but the incident created widespread fear in the neighborhood. Police are investigating the case. The incident took place at Singh Mansion, located near the steel gate on Sarai Dhela–Govindpur Road. One bomb landed inside the mansion while the other exploded near the gate. The action was part of a special campaign against vehicles creating excessive noise and violating traffic regulations. During the operation, approximately 500 modified silencers and over 250 pressure horns were confiscated and completely destroyed using a bulldozer at the Ranchi Police Lines.
