Chaibasa, 28 Nov 2025: A tragic incident occurred in the Naxal-affected Saranda forest of Kolhan, West Singhbhum, when an IED planted by Naxals exploded, killing an 18-year-old girl and injuring two women. The blast took place in Kolbonga area under Jaraikela police station. The victims, all residents of Kolbonga village, had gone to the forest to collect Siali leaves when they encountered the explosion around 2 PM.
