Tragic Road Accident in Abu Dhabi Claims Lives of Four Indians, Including Three Siblings

A tragic car accident in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Sunday early morning claimed the lives of four Indian nationals, including three siblings aged 14, 12, and 5 years. The accident also left the victims’ parents and two other children critically injured.

Details of the Accident

The incident occurred when a family from Kerala was returning home from the Liwa Festival in Dubai. The car, carrying eight passengers, lost control and crashed. Among those in the vehicle were the parents, five children, and a domestic helper.

According to reports, the victims who died include the children Ashaj (14), Ammar (12), and Ayyash (5), along with the family’s domestic helper, Bushra. The surviving family members—parents Abdul Latif and Rukhsana and their two children Ijja (10) and Ajjam (7)—are receiving treatment in a local hospital, with one of them in serious condition.

Aftermath and Funeral Arrangements

Family members and friends rushed to the hospital following the accident. A social worker assisting the family confirmed that the decision has been made to bury the children in the UAE. Arrangements are also being made to manage the funeral rites and the repatriation of the domestic helper’s body.

Authorities are investigating the accident, and the Abu Dhabi Police have been contacted for official comments.

This tragic incident highlights the risks of road travel and has deeply shaken the Indian community in the UAE.
