Shocking Video Shows Mob Abducting Hindu Youth Before Lynching in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh: Disturbing footage has emerged showing the moments before the brutal killing of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. The video, released by news broadcaster Jamuna TV, captures the mob in full control of the area, highlighting the absence of law enforcement or any police intervention.

Mob Violence Against Minorities
Dipu Chandra Das was attacked and killed on Thursday by a mob over alleged blasphemy accusations. The video shows a large, agitated crowd gathered outside a factory where Das worked. Moments later, the factory gate opens, and the mob forcibly drags Das away. Reports indicate that the victim was later tied to a tree and burned alive.

Several reports claim that police could have saved Das’ life if they had intervened. Instead, authorities handed him over to the mob without resistance.

No Evidence Against the Victim
Following the murder, Bangladeshi officials stated that no evidence was found supporting the mob’s claims against Das. Investigations have not produced any proof that he committed blasphemy or spoke against any deity or prophet.

Social Media Outcry
Renowned writer Taslima Nasreen shared the video on social media, stating that Das was abducted directly from his factory by anti-Hindu elements despite having committed no crime. She highlighted that false rumors had pressured the floor manager to force Das to resign and that the police opened the factory gate without informing him.

Taslima also criticized the police for repeating the same mistakes as in previous incidents, referencing the case of Utsav Mandal, where authorities handed him over to a hostile crowd. She warned that hatred against Hindus in Bangladesh is on the rise, creating a climate of fear for religious minorities.
