The children, aged between 15-20, are lined up as an announcer on a loudspeaker recites a mantra of jihad, urging the children to “carry grenades, wear magazines, and embrace martyrdom with the name of Allah on their lips.” As these young recruits chant fervently, they pledge to kill their enemies in exchange for entry into paradise.

Another report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies noted that 1,063 terrorist incidents took place in 2025. These attacks resulted in the deaths of over 1,000 people, including civilians, military personnel, and police officers. Among the victims, 437 were security personnel, highlighting the severe toll that terrorism continues to take on Pakistan’s stability.
