Pakistan’s Disturbing Trend: JeM and TTP Recruiting Children to Become Terrorists

Islamabad: A shocking new video has emerged, revealing how militant groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are indoctrinating children into terrorism. These chilling scenes illustrate how minors are being trained to carry out violent acts in the name of Allah, with little regard for their safety or future.

The footage is a grim reflection of the deep-rooted decay in Pakistani society, where extremist ideologies have taken root. In these videos, children—some as young as 10 to 15 years old—are seen participating in radical training camps, where they are taught to prepare for suicide missions, carry grenades, and make pledges of jihad.

While children around the world are expected to receive an education in science, history, and culture, in Pakistan’s war zones, many are being transformed into human bombs. These videos from JeM and TTP reveal the disturbing reality of how these terror organizations are recruiting the next generation of terrorists, brainwashing them into believing that death in the name of jihad is a noble cause.

Jaish-e-Mohammad’s Radical Training Camps

The first video features a JeM training camp where a main terrorist leader is seen addressing a group of young recruits. The children, aged between 15-20, are lined up as an announcer on a loudspeaker recites a mantra of jihad, urging the children to “carry grenades, wear magazines, and embrace martyrdom with the name of Allah on their lips.” As these young recruits chant fervently, they pledge to kill their enemies in exchange for entry into paradise.

This video highlights the horrifying reality in Pakistan, where terror groups like JeM and TTP continue to gain influence. While Pakistan’s government struggles to deal with these organizations, they remain entrenched, influencing the country’s youth to carry out violent attacks against both Pakistan and neighboring countries.

TTP’s Campaign of Radicalization

The second video is from the TTP, a group bent on imposing a Taliban-style regime in Pakistan. The TTP has been waging a brutal war against Pakistan’s military and government, killing hundreds of soldiers and civilians. While JeM primarily targets India, the TTP focuses on domestic terrorism, primarily killing Pakistani nationals.

In the video, young children are shown proudly waving the TTP flag, marching in a jingoistic parade with armed militants flanking them. The children appear to be celebrating their new identity as jihadists, while the adult militants supervise the parade, further normalizing violence in their society. This video demonstrates how deeply ingrained terrorism has become in the culture of Pakistan, with these organizations not only recruiting but celebrating the terror they inflict on their own people.

Rising Terrorism in Pakistan: A Growing Concern

According to the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies, 699 terrorist incidents occurred in 2025, a 34% increase compared to the previous year. Another report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies noted that 1,063 terrorist incidents took place in 2025. These attacks resulted in the deaths of over 1,000 people, including civilians, military personnel, and police officers. Among the victims, 437 were security personnel, highlighting the severe toll that terrorism continues to take on Pakistan’s stability.

2025 has been one of the most dangerous years for Pakistan in terms of terrorist attacks, with extremist groups exploiting the country’s fragile security situation. The rise in attacks, coupled with the recruitment of children, signals a concerning trend that poses significant risks not only to Pakistan but also to the region’s stability.
