Lashkar Terrorist from PoK Issues Open Threats Against India, Calls for Jihad in Kashmir

Islamabad / New Delhi: Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has once again issued open threats against India, exposing the continued operation of extremist networks on Pakistani soil. Amir Zia, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba commander operating from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), has publicly called for jihad in Kashmir and destruction across India in a video that has surfaced online.

Speaking at a Lashkar-organised event in PoK, Zia delivered a provocative and inflammatory speech, urging terror outfits to unite under the banner of “Ghazwa-e-Hind” — a term frequently used by extremist groups to incite violence against India.

Open Hate Speech and Threats

In his speech, Amir Zia made derogatory remarks against India and openly threatened large-scale violence. Pointing towards India, he said that despite being “emboldened enough to talk about reclaiming PoK,” India would face retaliation. He declared that Lashkar would not retreat from its fight and claimed that Kashmir would be “liberated” through armed jihad, followed by destruction across India.

Such statements highlight the continued use of Pakistani territory for anti-India propaganda and terror mobilisation, despite Islamabad’s repeated claims of cracking down on extremist groups.

Bangladesh Mentioned in Extremist Narrative

During the speech, Zia also claimed that Lashkar’s ideology is gaining ground in Bangladesh. He glorified Usman Hadi, a recently killed extremist from Bangladesh, projecting him as an ideological ally. Zia alleged that efforts to suppress their supporters in Bangladesh would fail, indicating an attempt to internationalise Lashkar’s terror narrative beyond South Asia.

Pattern of Provocation

This video follows another recent appearance by Saifullah Saif, Lashkar’s Bahawalpur chief, who last week openly called for “Ghazwa-e-Hind” and issued threats against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Indian leaders. The back-to-back emergence of such videos suggests a coordinated propaganda push by Lashkar leadership.

Terror Camps Revived After Indian Strikes

India had targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan’s Punjab province and PoK under Operation Sindoor in May last year, destroying several Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed facilities. However, intelligence agencies now warn that both groups have revived recruitment and training activities nearly seven months after the strikes.

According to security inputs, destroyed terror infrastructure is being rebuilt, and fresh cadres are being trained, prompting heightened alerts across Indian security establishments.

Intelligence Alert Issued

Indian intelligence agencies have issued a fresh alert on the organisational and operational resurgence of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. The report notes renewed recruitment drives, training camps, and reconstruction of facilities damaged during Indian missile strikes.

Security agencies remain on high alert, closely monitoring terror movements originating from PoK and Pakistan, as extremist groups continue to issue open threats with apparent impunity.
