Balochistan Issues Ultimatum: Pakistan Has No Right to Use Land Against Iran, Say Leaders

ISLAMABAD: Baloch separatist leaders have issued a stern ultimatum to Pakistan, declaring that Islamabad has no authority to use Balochistan’s territory, airspace, or maritime resources in operations against Iran. The announcement comes amid rising tensions over regional control and strategic assets in the area.

Baloch Leadership Rejects Islamabad’s Claims

In a social media statement, prominent Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch directly challenged remarks made by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Tahir Andrabi, who had claimed that Balochistan’s territory would not be used against Iran. Mir Yar Baloch described the ministry’s statement as “misleading and overconfident,” asserting that Pakistan has long claimed control over areas that historically belong to the Baloch and Sindhi nations.

“The only maritime routes and coastline of Pakistan lie entirely within occupied Balochistan and Sindh,” the statement read. “These are not Pakistani lands—they are historic territories of the Baloch and Sindhi peoples, illegally occupied by Pakistan for decades.”

No Strategic Rights for Pakistan

The statement further emphasized that Pakistan possesses no sovereign land, airspace, or maritime zones that it can offer to the United States or any other country for military operations against Iran. “It is important for the world to understand that the real Pakistan, Punjab, is landlocked and has no natural access to the sea,” the Baloch leader added. “Without Balochistan’s 1,000-kilometer coastline and Sindh’s waters, Pakistan has no naval significance. Its claims of strategic maritime zones are deceptive and fabricated to project regional influence.”

Call for International Recognition

Mir Yar Baloch also called on the international community—including the United States, Israel, and democratic nations—to recognize the legitimate stakeholders in the region. He stressed that Baloch, Sindhi, Ahwazi, Kurdish, and Pashtun peoples are the rightful claimants of these territories and have long aspired to freedom from oppressive regimes in Pakistan and Iran.

“The Balochistan Republic reiterates that any areas Pakistan claims to defend or offer to the U.S. are not Pakistani lands,” the statement concluded. “The international community must acknowledge this reality and engage directly with the oppressed nations fighting for independence and regional peace.”
