In a surprising development ahead of the official launch, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra has reportedly appeared for sale in Dubai. Popular YouTuber Karoul Sahil claimed to have purchased the device from Dubai’s Deira Market for approximately ₹2,96,595 (AED 12,000). In a video shared online, he showcased the phone’s new ‘Privacy Display’ feature.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, the top-end model of Samsung’s upcoming S26 Series, was reportedly available in the market ahead of the official Galaxy Unpacked event. Karoul Sahil shared multiple updates on his X account, detailing his experience of buying the device and testing its features even before the formal launch.
Samsung’s official Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for 25 February 2026, where three smartphones from the Galaxy S26 Series are expected to be unveiled. The early availability of the Ultra model in Dubai has generated considerable buzz.
According to Sahil, the phone was delivered by a local courier. When he inquired whether it was indeed an original Galaxy S26 Ultra, the delivery person confirmed it. The listed price was AED 12,000 (approximately ₹2,96,595), but Sahil paid USD 3,300 as he did not have the local currency.
Sahil’s videos show the phone in a silver color variant with a camera module on the left side housing three camera sensors. Visually, the design appears consistent with previous leaks, without major deviations.
The Privacy Display feature was demonstrated in the settings menu. When activated, the screen appears black from a side view, ensuring content is visible only to the user. The device also comes with S Pen support and a flat display.
While the phone’s early market availability is unusual, the company is expected to officially announce the Galaxy S26 Series on 25 February, with live streaming of the event available on Samsung’s YouTube channel. Pre-orders for the series have already begun on Samsung’s official website.
