Motorola Signature Set for January 7 Launch, Promises Flagship Power with Quad 50MP Cameras and Wireless Charging

New Delhi: Motorola is gearing up to introduce its new premium smartphone series, Motorola Signature, in India on January 7, and ahead of the official launch, renowned tipster Evan Blass has revealed the device’s complete specifications. The leaks suggest that the Motorola Signature will arrive as a true flagship, packed with cutting-edge hardware, long-term software support, and advanced camera and display technology.

At the heart of the Motorola Signature will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, built on an advanced 3nm process, promising top-tier performance and efficiency. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola committing to an impressive seven years of OS upgrades and security updates, a move that places it among the leaders in long-term smartphone support.

Powerful Performance and Storage Options

The device will be offered with 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, paired with UFS 4.1 storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. An in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will further enhance security and user convenience.

Advanced Battery and Charging Technology

Motorola Signature is tipped to feature a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 90W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging. This combination is expected to deliver long battery life along with rapid and versatile charging options.

Premium AMOLED Display

On the front, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.8-inch LTPO Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels. The display will support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and an adaptive 165Hz refresh rate, along with a stunning 6,200 nits peak brightness. Protection will be provided by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Despite its premium build, the device is expected to weigh just 186 grams and carry IP68/IP69 ratings along with military-grade durability.

Quad 50MP Camera Setup

Photography will be a major highlight of the Motorola Signature. The phone is expected to feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 primary sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 100x zoom. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is also expected. The device is said to support 8K Dolby Vision video recording and 4K slow-motion recording at 120fps, appealing to content creators and video enthusiasts alike.

Audio and Overall Experience

Completing the flagship experience, the Motorola Signature is expected to come with dual stereo speakers, delivering immersive audio quality.
