According to these posts, the base model, initially launched at ₹82,900, would see a price increase to ₹89,900 starting December 16. The screenshot created widespread concern among potential buyers.
Apple’s Response
NBT Tech reached out to Apple regarding the circulating claims. Apple confirmed that the screenshot and related price hike reports were completely false. There has been no official communication about any increase in iPhone 17 pricing.

Customers planning to purchase a new iPhone 17 should note that current prices remain unchanged. Any demands for higher payments from Apple stores or third-party sellers are not valid. Apple has assured that any genuine price revisions will be officially announced, and tech media will provide updated information when that happens.
