The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is set to begin on February 16 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, and a key highlight of the event will be the country’s first-ever India AI Film Festival (IAFF) on February 17 at the historic Qutub Minar. The festival will feature over 500 global leaders, tech executives, and policymakers, showcasing the intersection of AI innovation and India’s cultural heritage.

A Unique Convergence of Technology and Creativity

Hosted by InVideo and sponsored by NVIDIA, the IAFF will present film screenings, panel discussions, and a grand award ceremony with prizes totaling $12,000 (approximately ₹11 lakh). The festival aims to celebrate global AI innovation while connecting it with Indian traditions, including music, fashion, cuisine, and storytelling.

Attendees and Key Speakers

The festival will bring together more than 500 influential figures, including investors, policymakers, and cultural pioneers. Among the notable speakers is Vishal Dhooper, Managing Director, Asia South, NVIDIA. Sessions will cover topics such as “India’s AI Ambition on the World Stage” and “Independent Indian AI Filmmakers,” along with a fireside chat on “The Future of Storytelling” featuring Mike J. Mitch, CEO of Abundantia Entertainment and Co-founder of Phantom X.

Awards and Recognition

The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony, honoring the best AI-driven films. Winning entries will receive $12,000 in prizes, recognizing innovation, creativity, and the transformative potential of AI in visual storytelling. A red-carpet reception will precede the event, providing networking opportunities for creators and industry leaders.

Beyond Technology: Empowering Creators

According to InVideo CEO Sanket Shah, the IAFF is not merely a showcase of technology—it is designed to empower creators, celebrate India’s leadership in AI, and demonstrate that world-class innovation and compelling narratives can be produced in India. The festival will highlight how AI is reshaping visual storytelling and opening new avenues for creative expression.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026, running from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam, is the first major global AI summit in the Global South. The event features participation from world leaders, top tech executives, and global innovators, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the India AI Impact Expo 2026 on the opening day.
