India Sees Launch of 12,000mAh Battery Tablets for the First Time: realme Pad3 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro Hit the Market

New Delhi: The Indian tablet market witnesses a power-packed entry with the launch of realme Pad3 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro, both featuring massive 12,000mAh batteries. Designed for heavy usage, productivity, and entertainment, these tablets also support 5G connectivity and come powered by MediaTek and Qualcomm processors, respectively.

Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro starts at ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage Wi-Fi variant, with the top-end variant priced at ₹27,999. Sales will commence on January 12, with a bank discount of ₹2,000 available.

The realme Pad3 is priced at ₹24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model, while the 5G variant costs ₹27,999. The 8GB + 256GB 5G model is available at ₹29,999, also with a ₹2,000 bank discount.

Targeted at students, professionals, and everyday users, the realme Pad3 offers a compact, book-style 11.6-inch 2.8K display with sharp text and clear visuals. Certified by TÜV Rheinland, the display reduces harmful blue light, making it suitable for long study or entertainment sessions.

Despite its massive 12,200mAh Titan battery, the tablet is slim at 6.6mm and weighs 560 grams. It supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, features quad stereo speakers, and supports 5G connectivity.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro sports a larger 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and 600 nits brightness. TÜV Rheinland-certified, it ensures eye comfort for long hours of usage.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 chipset and houses a 12,000mAh battery with 27W reverse charging. The tablet includes four speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity, with the 5G model supporting calls and internet. Additionally, the device incorporates several AI features and offers optional accessories such as a keyboard and stylus pen sold separately.

With these two launches, Indian consumers get their first taste of ultra-high-capacity tablets, combining performance, connectivity, and long-lasting battery life for work, study, and entertainment.
