
The Indian Railways’ RailOne app now makes it easier than ever to report train or station-related issues online. Its new feature, Rail Madad, allows passengers to register complaints instantly using their mobile phones, along with photos, videos, or audio recordings.
What is the RailOne App?
Developed by Indian Railways, the RailOne app not only allows booking train tickets, including general and platform tickets, but also provides a platform to file complaints. The app also lets users access content from WEVS OTT services.
Rail Madad Feature Explained
The Rail Madad feature, prominently displayed on the app’s homepage, helps passengers report inconveniences experienced on trains or at stations. Complaints can be submitted in video, audio, or image formats, with each file limited to 5MB.
How to File a Complaint
- Install the RailOne app from the Play Store or App Store.
- Register or log in (IRCTC accounts are compatible).
- Open the homepage and tap the Rail Madad icon (red logo).
- Select the type of issue—train or station-related.
- Upload supporting photos, videos, or audio files.
- Provide detailed information about the problem in the text box.
- Submit the complaint.
- Track the status of your complaint via the Track option on the top-right corner of the app.

- Dirty coaches or toilets
- Food quality issues
- AC or mobile charging point not working
- Overcharging for food
- Dirty blankets or bedroll issues
- Water supply problems
- Train delays
- Emergency doctor requests
Suggestions and Feedback
Passengers can also share suggestions to improve railway services or provide feedback about their travel experience using the same Rail Madad feature.
The RailOne app ensures that complaints are addressed faster, making railway travel more convenient and responsive to passenger needs.
