The much-publicized entry of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s business empire into the technology sector appears to have hit a major roadblock. The Trump Organization’s proposed luxury smartphone, marketed under its subsidiary Trump Mobile, has failed to launch despite loud claims and a planned rollout timeline.
The gold-colored premium smartphone was initially scheduled to debut in September 2025, but even as the year comes to an end, there is no confirmed launch date in sight.

According to a report by the Financial Times, the delay has been attributed to the U.S. government shutdown, which reportedly disrupted supply chains and delivery schedules linked to the project. As a result, Trump Mobile has been unable to meet its original launch commitments.

Trump Mobile was envisioned not merely as a handset brand but as a full-fledged telecom venture. Eric Trump, who oversees the Trump Organization, had earlier claimed that the smartphones would be manufactured in the United States and supported through domestic call centers.
