Ayushman App: How to Apply for Your Ayushman Card from Home

Applying for an Ayushman Card has become easier than ever. Thanks to the Ayushman App, residents can now create their card, check eligibility, and even download a digital copy—all from the comfort of their home, without standing in long queues.

How to Check Eligibility

To start, download the Ayushman App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The app is free and user-friendly. Follow these steps to check your eligibility:

1. Open the app and tap on Login.
2. Choose Beneficiary under “Login As,” fill in the captcha, and enter your phone number.
3. Enter the OTP received on your phone.
4. A form will appear where you select your Scheme (PMJAY), State, and Sub Scheme (PMJAY).
5. Under Search By, choose Aadhaar Number, Family ID, or PMJAY Card Number, and fill in the required details.
6. Complete the captcha and submit to check your eligibility.

If eligible, the app will guide you to the next steps. Otherwise, an error will display stating that no beneficiary matches the criteria.

How to Apply for the Ayushman Card

Once your eligibility is confirmed, the app will show your family details linked with the Family ID.

• If a card is already created for a family member, a “Download Card” button will appear. Click it to download the digital Ayushman Card.
• If e-KYC is required, the app will prompt you to complete it before downloading the card.

Completing e-KYC on the App

Follow these steps for e-KYC verification:

1. Tap on e-KYC next to your name.
2. The authentication menu will appear. Select Aadhaar OTP.
3. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked phone number. Enter the OTP and provide consent.
4. Enter the additional OTP received for verification.
5. The app will take you to the e-KYC page, displaying Aadhaar ID, Member ID, and Family ID.
6. Scroll down and complete e-KYC by entering your Aadhaar number and submitting consent.
7. Upload a selfie for Aadhaar verification.
8. Fill in remaining required details and submit the form.

After successful e-KYC completion, your Ayushman Card will be available for download immediately.
