AI Impact Summit 2026: Over 100 CEOs and Heads of State to Join PM Modi in Delhi

India is set to host the AI Impact Summit 2026 in February 2026, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the event in New Delhi. The summit will bring together over 100 global CEOs and leaders from approximately 15 countries, including tech visionaries like Bill Gates and Demis Hassabis.

Global Leaders and CEOs to Convene

The summit aims to explore the growing impact and future of artificial intelligence (AI) across industries. On February 18, PM Modi will host a dinner for participating heads of state and global business leaders, followed by the official inauguration and CEO meetings on February 19. These discussions will focus on investment opportunities, business collaboration, and AI-driven innovations.

Objectives of the Summit

Organized under the IndiaAI Mission, the summit will highlight advancements in AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) capable of understanding and generating human-like language. Officials from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) emphasized that the event will serve as a platform for global leaders to discuss AI developments and their impact on various sectors.

India’s Role in the Future of AI

The participation of global tech leaders like Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis underscores India’s emerging role in shaping the future of AI. The summit will also showcase India’s achievements in security, sports, and science in 2025, positioning the country as a key player in the AI-driven global economy.

With top policymakers, business leaders, and technology innovators gathering under one roof, the AI Impact Summit 2026 promises to be a landmark event for India, highlighting the nation’s growing influence in artificial intelligence worldwide.
