
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially launched its budget-friendly REDMI 15C 5G smartphone in India. Available from 11 December 2025, the device comes packed with features aimed at the mid-range segment, including a large display, powerful battery, and capable cameras.
The REDMI 15C 5G is available in Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, and Midnight Black colors. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹12,499, the 6GB + 128GB variant at ₹13,999, and the 8GB + 128GB top-end model at ₹15,499. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, Xiaomi’s official website, and offline stores starting 11 December.
The smartphone features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 810 nits. The display is TÜV Rheinland certified, ensuring minimal strain on the eyes.
Under the hood, the REDMI 15C 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, built on a 6nm process, paired with 4GB to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card, making it suitable for heavy users.
The phone runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and supports dual SIM functionality. It comes equipped with a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and a large 6000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. The REDMI 15C 5G weighs 211 grams and has an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water.
With its combination of big display, long-lasting battery, and powerful camera, the REDMI 15C 5G aims to be a strong contender in the affordable 5G smartphone segment in India.
