Yamuna Authority to Launch New Auction Scheme for Small Industrial Plots Up to 8,000 Sq. Meters in Greater Noida

Greater Noida:
The Yamuna Authority is set to introduce a new industrial plot scheme in December, targeting small plots of up to 8,000 square meters. The Authority has resolved pending legal disputes and completed development of vacant plots, making them ready for allocation.

In the previous scheme, 37 plots were offered, which attracted 527 applications. Due to strong investor interest, the Authority is now preparing a new scheme specifically for smaller plots.

Development and Allocation Details:
So far, the Yamuna Authority has allocated 3,041 plots under various industrial sectors. Several plots remained unallocated earlier due to ongoing legal disputes over land ownership. These issues have now been largely resolved, and the plots have been fully developed and made ready for allotment.

The new auction scheme will identify remaining vacant plots in industrial sectors and make them available to investors. The exact number of plots under this upcoming scheme will be finalized soon.

During the last small industrial plot auction, 37 plots of up to 8,000 square meters were offered, and 527 applications were received. After careful scrutiny, only 448 plots were selected for auction. Positive feedback from investors has encouraged the Authority to introduce this new scheme, addressing the growing demand for smaller industrial plots.

According to Rakesh Kumar Singh, CEO of the Yamuna Authority, the demand for smaller industrial plots is significant, and the Authority is actively preparing a new scheme to accommodate these requirements, ensuring that remaining vacant plots are efficiently utilized.
