Yamraj Roams the Streets of Hathras, Educates Drivers on Traffic Rules

In an unusual but impactful event, a person dressed as Yamraj (the Hindu God of Death) was seen roaming the streets of Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, educating motorists about traffic rules. The individual, in full Yamraj attire, halted bike and car drivers, urging them to wear helmets and seat belts while driving.

The incident took place near the main Talab Crossroads in the city, where the Transport Department and Traffic Police conducted a road safety awareness campaign. The ‘Yamraj’ figure, played by P.K. Rawat, stopped drivers who were not following traffic safety measures. With an authoritative tone, he reminded them, “If you don’t follow the rules, we’ll take you away – because I am Yamraj!”

The campaign’s goal was to raise awareness about the importance of wearing helmets for bikers and seat belts for car drivers. The Transport Department officials emphasized that adhering to traffic regulations is crucial in preventing accidents and ensuring public safety.

This unique approach using Yamraj as a symbol of consequences captured attention and successfully conveyed the message that safety comes first on the roads.
