Wife of Fatehpur BJP Leader Found Unconscious, Dies Under Mysterious Circumstances

Fatehpur, UP: Tragedy struck the family of a local BJP leader in Fatehpur on Thursday when Divya Srivastava, wife of party office-bearer Abhishek Srivastava, was found unconscious in her bathroom and later declared dead at the district hospital.

The incident occurred at the couple’s residence in the Muraine Tola neighborhood of the Sadar Kotwali area. According to family members, Divya Srivastava, 30, had gone to the bathroom in the evening and did not come out for an unusually long time. Concerned, her family knocked on the door but received no response. Upon breaking open the door, they found her lying unconscious on the floor.

Immediate Medical Attention and Death Confirmation

The family rushed Divya to the district hospital, where doctors confirmed her death after initial medical assessment. The sudden demise has plunged the family into grief, leaving them shocked and devastated.

Police Investigation Underway

Local police arrived at the scene promptly and took the body into custody, initiating formal legal procedures. Station Officer Tarkeshwar Rai confirmed that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. While the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report, police have already begun a thorough investigation.
