Vrindavan (Mathura): Swami Shri Ramkrishnacharya Maharaj, the revered spiritual leader from Nepal, recently met Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan. Representing all Sanatan Hindus of Nepal, Swamiji offered his respects and wished for the long life and wellbeing of Premanand Maharaj.
Swami Shri Ramkrishnacharya is a prominent spiritual guru and one of the leading saints of the Ramanand Sampradaya. He serves as the Peethadhishwar of Shri Ramtarak Brahmpith in Varahakshetra, Chatradhham (Sunsari), Nepal, and is widely known as “Mahayogi Siddh Baba.”
Swamiji has led monumental religious events in Nepal, including the Hanumad Mahayagya, where one billion mantras were chanted and millions of offerings were pledged. Through such initiatives, he has played a pivotal role in the preservation and promotion of Sanatan Dharma in Nepal. Millions of disciples have been connected to spiritual practices through Shruti Shabd Yoga and devotional Naam-Jap Sadhana under his guidance.
During the satsang, Swamiji emphasized the role of saints in guiding people from illusion (maya) towards God, saying, “If even one human mind is turned towards the divine, it is greater than any grand yajna.” He highlighted the power of Naam-Jap (chanting God’s name) as the essence of love, stating that spiritual practice without it is empty.
The discussion also addressed mental distress and modern depression, with Premanand Maharaj noting that following the teachings of saints can relieve anxiety, fear, and grief. Swamiji observed that devotees taking medication for depression have found healing and peace through regular Naam-Jap.
A disciple of Swami Shri Ramkrishnacharya described his guru’s yogic powers, revealing that he can remain in deep samadhi for nine days without food or oxygen. Maharaj concluded that saint and God are not separate; God manifests as a saint to uplift the world.
This meeting in Vrindavan reinforced the spiritual bond between Nepal and India and highlighted the enduring influence of saints in guiding humanity towards peace and devotion.
