A deeply emotional and spiritually charged moment unfolded in Vrindavan when renowned spiritual speaker Naresh Bhaiya Ji met the revered saint Premanand Maharaj at his ashram. What began as a philosophical and devotional interaction soon transformed into a moment of intense emotion that left Premanand Maharaj in tears and the disciples present profoundly moved.
Naresh Bhaiya Ji, a respected figure in Vrindavan’s spiritual circles, is closely associated with “Shriman Naradiya Bhagwat Nikunj.” Known for his heartfelt discourses on Radha–Madhav devotion and Sanatan Dharma, he has carved a special place among saints and devotees, particularly inspiring the younger generation through his soulful satsangs. He arrived at the ashram along with his family, where an atmosphere of devotion and reverence prevailed.
A Meeting Filled with Bhakti and Ras
During the interaction, both saints engaged in deep discussions on Nikunj Ras, divine love, and the essence of selfless devotion. The meeting was marked by warmth, mutual respect and profound spiritual bonding. According to those present, the exchange reflected not only intellectual depth but also a rare emotional intimacy rooted in shared devotion.
The Moment That Touched Every Heart
The most poignant moment came when Naresh Bhaiya Ji presented a written poetic composition, recalling the love and guidance of his revered elders—“Bhaiya Ji” and “Babu Ji”—and the eternal glory of Vrindavan. As he recited the verses, he lingered on the word “was”, evoking memories of love, separation and divine longing.
The atmosphere grew even more intense when Naresh Bhaiya Ji imagined a future moment—a time when Premanand Maharaj would no longer be physically present on the sacred land of Braj. The thought, expressed with deep sensitivity and devotion, overwhelmed Premanand Maharaj, whose eyes filled with tears. The gathering fell silent as disciples and devotees struggled to contain their emotions.
A Vision Beyond Physical Presence
In his composition, Naresh Bhaiya Ji portrayed Premanand Maharaj as a Radha Sakhi in Braj, symbolising eternal service and divine love. He spoke of a spiritual convergence, saying that the earthly realm is witnessing a unique divine play where great souls are coming together—an “inner-world congregation of saints.”
Responding to a question once asked by his children—“What will happen when Baba is no longer with us?”—Naresh Bhaiya Ji conveyed a powerful message:
“Great souls never truly leave. They exist everywhere, eternally.”
He further recited lines emphasising the immortality of saints through their words and influence, declaring that whenever seekers speak of divine love, Premanand Maharaj will be remembered. He compared the saint’s spiritual stature to that of Sikh Gurus, Buddha and Jain saints, calling him a ‘Sant Nir-Dwand’—beyond duality.
Tears, Silence and Transformation
As these words echoed through the ashram, Premanand Maharaj was once again moved to tears. The silence that followed spoke louder than words, as devotees absorbed the depth of the moment.
Naresh Bhaiya Ji concluded by highlighting the power of saintly speech, saying that while worldly worries often persist, the words of saints have the power to transform lives, ease suffering and awaken devotion.
In response, Premanand Maharaj humbly acknowledged the impact of Naresh Bhaiya Ji and his spiritual lineage, saying,
“The path shown by Bhaiya Ji and Baba changed my life. They held my hand and led me to where I was meant to be.”
The meeting has since become a topic of discussion in Vrindavan’s spiritual corridors—an encounter that reaffirmed faith in the timeless presence of saints, the power of devotion, and the transformative grace of spiritual words.
