After recently winning a legal battle against the state government and his own department, a new twist has emerged—a wedding invitation sent to him by Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore, which is now going viral and fuelling intense political speculation.

Court Gives Three Major Setbacks to Government

DSP Khileri had challenged the Bhajanlal Sharma government’s action against him in the Rajasthan High Court.
The controversy began in Jodhpur, where a dispute with a BJP leader led the state to place him on APO (Awaiting Posting Orders). However, the High Court intervened three times, staying the government’s order and reinstating him to his post in Bhopalgarh.

Amid this ongoing tussle, a wedding card from the BJP state chief to the DSP has triggered fresh political debate.

Wedding Card Goes Viral, Ignites Speculation

A wedding invitation for Shreyansh and Urmila’s wedding on 30 November, issued with Madan Rathore’s name as the sender, has spread widely across social media.
Political observers are interpreting this as more than just a formal gesture—many believe it signals shifting political equations in Rajasthan.

Some users online have remarked that a government-challenging officer receiving a personal wedding invite from the BJP chief may reflect unfolding political dynamics.

Background: DSP Khileri vs. Bhajanlal Government

The dispute dates back to October, when several villagers filed a complaint against BJP leader Hemant Sharma for allegedly making caste-based remarks on social media.
Following the complaint, police arrested Sharma, sparking protests. The BJP district leadership then raised the issue with the Chief Minister, after which DSP Khileri was transferred and placed on APO.

Khileri challenged this in court, which not only stayed the transfer order but also questioned the police department for reassigning the officer despite the High Court’s directions. He has since been ordered to resume duty in Bhopalgarh.
