Jaipur: The Audi hit-and-run incident in Mansarovar, Jaipur, which left 16 people injured and claimed one life, shook the entire city. Amid the investigation, the name of Ashu Bairwa, son of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, surfaced in public discourse. However, Ashu Bairwa has now released a video clarifying his position and denying all allegations.
The high-profile accident occurred near Kharbas Circle, where a speeding Audi struck multiple pedestrians. The incident sparked outrage and raised questions across political and social circles. A woman from the victim’s family alleged that Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa’s son was present in the car at the time of the accident. Her statement triggered a wave of speculation in political circles and across social media.
In response, Ashu Bairwa released a statement on Instagram, categorically denying any involvement in the accident. In the video, he also shared a statement from the woman who later refuted her earlier claims. He emphasized that his name was being unnecessarily dragged into the controversy and that he had no connection to the incident.
Who is Ashu Bairwa?
Ashu Bairwa is a BJP leader and the son of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa. He first gained media attention in September 2024 when a video surfaced showing him driving an open jeep with friends. In that instance, allegations arose that he was being escorted by police vehicles, sparking criticism over misuse of power and violation of rules.
With the recent video, Ashu Bairwa seeks to set the record straight and distance himself from the Jaipur Audi hit-and-run case.
