
New Delhi: Delhi-NCR is witnessing a gradual rise in temperatures, giving residents a warmer feel after days of winter chill. Meanwhile, the hill states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand continue to experience chances of rain and snowfall.
Delhi-NCR Weather Outlook
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast mostly clear skies in Delhi-NCR from February 10 to 13, though light morning fog may persist. The maximum temperature in the capital is expected to reach 26°C, while the minimum could drop to 11°C.

Rain and Snow Alerts
IMD predicts rain and snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, with possible gusty winds of 30–40 km/h, thunderstorms, and lightning. Similar weather, including rain and storms, is expected in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on February 16.
Weather in Uttar Pradesh
Western disturbances are unlikely to significantly affect Uttar Pradesh. Light morning fog may appear in several areas, with minimum temperatures ranging from 7–10°C. A gradual rise of 2–3°C is expected over the next three days.
Snowfall in Kashmir
Fresh snowfall was reported in the higher reaches of Kashmir on Tuesday, with cloudy conditions keeping night temperatures slightly higher. Tourists in Gulmarg, Baramulla district enjoyed early morning snow. IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall in the next 24 hours in these areas.
Other States
Bihar and Jharkhand are experiencing slightly below-normal minimum temperatures with persistent cold and light morning and evening fog. Rajasthan is expected to see dry weather and gradually rising temperatures over the next week, with a projected increase of 2–3°C in most areas over the next four to five days.
