Viral Video: Former Minister Hemraj Verma Falls Face-First During 100-Meter Race in Pilibhit

Pilibhit, UP: A humorous yet politically charged moment went viral from the recent MP Sports Festival in Pilibhit, where several leaders, including Union Minister Jitin Prasad, participated in a 100-meter race. Former State Minister Hemraj Verma, in an attempt to overtake Jitin Prasad, stumbled and fell flat on his face. The incident was caught on camera and quickly spread across social media.

The event took place at Gandhi Stadium in Pilibhit on Sunday. During the inauguration of the sports competition, Union Minister Jitin Prasad, along with other local representatives, joined the race. Eyewitnesses said that as Verma fell, spectators nearby couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected mishap.

Following the viral spread of the video, political debates have already begun. Hemraj Verma himself posted the video on his Facebook page, alleging that he was deliberately pushed during the race. The post sparked discussions on social media, with many speculating about the political undertones of the incident.

What was meant to be a light-hearted sporting event has now turned into a topic of political conversation, highlighting the mix of sportsmanship and politics in the district.
