Tragic Delhi Blast Claims Life of Young Shamli Resident; Family Mourns

Shamli/Delhi: A young man from Shamli lost his life in the Delhi car blast near Lal Qila, leaving his family devastated. 22-year-old Nouman, a resident of Jhinjhna village, was in Delhi with his cousin Aman to purchase cosmetics in Chandni Chowk when tragedy struck.

The two had arrived in Delhi by a hired car. After loading some of their purchases, they intended to collect more items. The driver warned them of heavy traffic and suggested postponing their plans, but Nouman and Aman decided to ignore the advice and switched to an e-rickshaw. It was during this time that the massive car blast occurred near Chandni Chowk. Nouman succumbed to his injuries, while Aman sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

The news of Nouman’s death left the entire family in shock. His elderly father, Imran, fainted upon hearing the tragic news. Nouman’s uncle, Mahboob, rushed to the hospital to meet Aman and provide support. The family, still reeling from the incident, lamented that had the cousins listened to the driver, this tragedy might have been averted.

Nouman was the eldest son in a family with four daughters and ailing younger brother, Farmaan, who suffers from kidney disease. The blast has left a profound impact on their close-knit family and the community back home.

The incident serves as a grim reminder of the sudden dangers that can strike in public spaces, leaving families shattered and lives forever changed.
