UP Weather Update, February 3: Drizzle in Lucknow, Rain Alert in Prayagraj; Fog and Mist to Intensify Cold

Lucknow:The chill continues to grip Uttar Pradesh as the state experiences unseasonal weather on February 3, 2026. In Lucknow, the day began with dense fog, followed by light drizzle and strong winds by 9:30 am, intensifying the cold. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for six districts in neighboring Uttarakhand, which is expected to bring a drop in minimum temperatures across northern, western, and Terai regions of UP. Maximum temperatures are not likely to rise significantly.

Regional Forecast Highlights

  • Meerut and Ghaziabad: Fog and mist expected, gradually moving northwards.
  • Mathura and Vrindavan: Minimum 10°C, maximum 23°C; fog and haze expected; no severe weather warnings.
