Lucknow, 18 November 2025: The Uttar Pradesh government is actively working to provide employment opportunities for its youth, both within the state and abroad. As part of this initiative, nearly 1,000 construction workers from UP are being prepared for deployment to Israel, with the screening process set to begin on 19 November.
Over 9,000 candidates have been found eligible for the current recruitment phase, and daily screening will accommodate around 600 candidates. The pre-screening and professional test drive will be conducted at the Yadupati Singhania Vocational Education Foundation campus in Kanpur, under the supervision of NSDC International CEO Alok Kumar and CSDCI CEO Hari Narayan Raj. These arrangements follow virtual agreements between NSDC and Israel’s PIBA agency, with the NSDC team having inspected the campus in advance.
Four-Stage Selection Process
Candidates shortlisted during sorting will undergo pre-screening, followed by final testing conducted by Israel’s PIBA agency. Applications submitted through the Rozgar Sangam portal will be called for sorting based on seniority. Only candidates complying with all NSDC and PIBA requirements will remain eligible; violations will lead to disqualification. Successful candidates will receive offer letters, and NSDC will manage visa processing, police verification, medical tests, and other formalities.
So far, approximately 6,000 Indian workers have been sent to Israel under similar programs. Currently, NSDC has uploaded 2,600 vacancies for renovation work in Israel on the Rozgar Sangam portal, of which around 1,000 are reserved for candidates from Uttar Pradesh. Jobs include roles in plastering, ceramic tiles, gypsum, and masonry work.
Training Before Deployment
Selected candidates will undergo a 40-hour training program in Lucknow from 26 November to 3 December 2024 before being deployed to Israel. They will be informed separately regarding their selection and training schedules.
This initiative reflects UP’s ongoing efforts to equip youth with international work opportunities while addressing skill development in the construction sector.
