
Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh has once again reshuffled key IPS officers, reassigning responsibilities in a major administrative move. On Friday, senior IPS officers Neelabja Chaudhary and Ashutosh Kumar received new postings.
Neelabja Chaudhary Takes Charge of UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board
Senior IPS officer Neelabja Chaudhary, a 2000 batch officer, has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG) of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board in Lucknow. He previously served as ADG of the CID, UP Police, Lucknow. Chaudhary hails from Kolkata, West Bengal, and has handled several critical responsibilities throughout his career. Born on 20 May 1975, he brings extensive experience to his new role.
Ashutosh Kumar Appointed ADG, CID UP
IPS officer Ashutosh Kumar, a 2001 batch officer, has been transferred to take over as ADG of the CID, UP Police, Lucknow. He previously held the position of ADG, UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board. A native of Lucknow, Kumar was born in August 1974 and has been instrumental in various law enforcement initiatives across the state.
These transfers reflect the ongoing administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh, with senior officials being strategically positioned to strengthen governance and policing across key departments.
