Satna/Chitrakoot: Renowned spiritual preacher Sant Riteshwar Maharaj, accompanied by former MP and ex-president of the Indian Wrestling Federation Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, visited Chitrakoot and the Dharkundi Ashram in Satna. During his visit, Maharaj lauded the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and shared his views on social laws and inter-saint dialogues.
Praise for Yogi Adityanath
Speaking to the media in Chitrakoot, Sant Riteshwar Maharaj praised CM Yogi Adityanath for creating a fear-free environment in Uttar Pradesh. He described Yogi as both a spiritual leader and an efficient administrator, stating that when a saint assumes political power, he performs his duties with utmost dedication to Rajdharma (the duty of governance).
Inter-Saints Dialogue Seen as Constructive
Addressing recent disagreements among saints on various issues, Maharaj emphasized the importance of dialogue. Citing the Sanskrit maxim “Vaade vaade jaayate bodha” (knowledge arises through debate), he said such discussions should be seen as constructive debates rather than controversies. Maharaj believes that thoughtful discourse among spiritual leaders ultimately produces positive outcomes for Sanatan Dharma.
Views on UGC and Social Laws
On questions regarding the University Grants Commission (UGC) and social legislation, Maharaj highlighted the peaceful and cooperative nature of India’s majority society. He stressed that laws should not create discord or division and expressed confidence that policymakers will reconsider decisions that may disturb societal harmony.
Dharkundi Ashram Visit
After a brief stay in Chitrakoot, Sant Riteshwar Maharaj and Brijbhushan Sharan Singh proceeded to Dharkundi Ashram in Satna. There, they paid homage to the late Paramhans Swami Sachchidanand Ji Maharaj at his samadhi, offering their respectful tributes.
