Unnao, 15 December 2025: A shocking incident of a love-triangle-related murder has come to light in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. A young man, in a dispute over a romantic relationship, allegedly conspired with his friends to kill his rival.
According to reports, 22-year-old Sudhir, a resident of Baliyakheda village in Achalganj police station area, went missing on 12 December while riding a bike with his friend Ranjit. Concerned about his disappearance, Sudhir’s family reported it to the police. The bike was later found abandoned, raising further concern.
On Sunday, local villagers discovered a body concealed under bushes and immediately informed the police. The deceased was identified as Sudhir. Initial examination revealed rope marks around his neck and blood on his face, indicating a possible strangulation and physical assault.
Police and forensic teams, along with the dog squad, inspected the crime scene and collected crucial evidence for further investigation.
Following leads from Sudhir’s family, police detained Ranjit and another accomplice, Sandeep, who is reportedly a quack doctor. During questioning, both confessed that the murder was motivated by a dispute over a woman with whom all three were involved.
Police stated that Sandeep and Ranjit lured Sudhir and strangled him, then attempted to hide the body before fleeing. Both accused have been arrested and are in custody, with authorities preparing to send them to jail.
This tragic incident underscores the dangers of personal disputes escalating into violence and has sent shockwaves through the local community.
