Two Sadhus Beaten in Bhind After Failing to Answer Religious Questions; Bag Allegedly Found Containing Urdu Documents

Bhind, Madhya Pradesh: A disturbing incident has come to light in Bhind district where two sadhus were reportedly assaulted by a group of locals after failing to answer questions about Hindu scriptures. A video of the attack has gone viral, prompting police attention, though no formal complaint has yet been filed.

Incident at Bypass Road

According to reports, the two sadhus were begging along the Bhind Bypass Road when a group of bystanders allegedly became suspicious of their identity. The sadhus were asked several questions about figures from the Mahabharata and to recite verses from the Ramayana, but they were unable to respond.

The situation escalated when the attackers asked the sadhus the name of Lord Shiva’s wife, a question they also failed to answer. Subsequent questions from other religious texts were met with silence, which reportedly angered the crowd.

Alleged Discovery of Urdu Documents

During the confrontation, the assailants reportedly searched the sadhus’ belongings and claimed to have found documents written in Urdu. Following this, the sadhus were physically assaulted, with portions of the attack reportedly recorded on video.

Police Response

No official complaint has yet been lodged regarding the incident. Local police officials stated that action will be taken based on verified facts once more information emerges. Meanwhile, the two sadhus appeared visibly frightened in the video circulating on social media.
