Two Friends Stabbed to Death at Dhaba in Ghaziabad Over Food Delay and Payment Dispute

Ghaziabad: A shocking double murder late Friday night has sent shockwaves through Ghaziabad’s Khoda police station area, where two young men were stabbed to death and another critically injured following an argument at a roadside dhaba.

The incident occurred around 10:30 pm near Ambedkar Gate at Vaishnav Dhaba, where Shripal (25) had come for dinner along with his friends Satyam (26) and Anurag. According to police, a dispute broke out between two groups over delay in food service and payment issues. Both sides were reportedly under the influence of alcohol.

The argument soon escalated into violence, during which the accused attacked the three friends with sharp-edged weapons. All three sustained serious stab injuries and collapsed at the spot. After carrying out the attack, the assailants fled the scene on foot, triggering panic and chaos at the dhaba.

Two Declared Dead, One Critical

Local people immediately informed the police. Senior officers, including DCP Trans Hindon Nimit Patel, ACP Indirapuram Abhishek Srivastava, and the Khoda police team, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

DCP Nimit Patel said that Shripal and Satyam were declared dead on arrival, while Anurag remains in critical condition and is undergoing treatment. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

CCTV Footage Under Scrutiny

Police have launched a detailed investigation into the case. During preliminary inquiry, the names of Suraj, Rajan, and Vishesh have surfaced as the main accused in the double murder. Multiple teams have been formed to nab the suspects.

Investigators are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area to trace the movements of the attackers. Some youths have been detained for questioning, and police claim the accused will be arrested soon.

The incident has once again raised concerns over rising street violence and alcohol-fueled disputes in the region.
