
A severe road accident occurred on the Barapulla Flyover in Delhi due to dense fog, claiming the life of a young man and injuring six others. The vehicle involved, a Scorpio, collided with the flyover divider. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Harsh, who was driving the car at the time of the crash.
The injured have been admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center for treatment. Their identities have been confirmed as Nikhil, Gagan, Bhishma, Yuvraj, Maan, and Himanshu. South East Delhi DCP Dr. Hemant Tiwari confirmed that the police received information about the accident around 2:30 AM and have launched an investigation into the incident.
Preliminary inquiries revealed that Harsh lost control of the Scorpio while driving on the foggy flyover. Despite medical efforts, doctors declared him dead, while the others continue to receive treatment. The Sunlight Colony police have registered a case and are carrying out further action.
Separate Incident: Bus Accident in Chanakyapuri
In another road mishap in Delhi, a tourist bus carrying approximately 15 South Korean passengers met with an accident in the Chanakyapuri area on Monday afternoon. The bus collided with a stationary vehicle around 1 PM, resulting in minor injuries to over a dozen tourists.
Police investigations indicate that the driver of the tourist bus suddenly fell ill, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The injured tourists were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
