Tragic Incident in Harsh Vihar: Husband Falls to Death from Roof, Wife Found Dead in Room

New Delhi: A horrifying incident shook the Harsh Vihar neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon when a property dealer reportedly fell from the roof of his residence, resulting in his death. His wife was later found unconscious and lifeless inside their room. Both were rushed to GTB Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The deceased have been identified as Mukesh and Savita. Reports suggest that the couple frequently quarreled.

Family Background:
Mukesh, a professional property dealer, lived in Harsh Vihar with his wife and their two sons, aged 7 and 10. His parents resided on the ground floor, while Mukesh and his immediate family lived on the first floor. His brothers and their families occupied the second and third floors. Mukesh and Savita had been married for approximately 12–13 years.

Incident Details:
According to police sources, a dispute erupted between the couple around 3 PM while both their sons were at school. Shortly after, Mukesh fell from the roof into the street below. Family members rushed outside to find him severely injured and bleeding.

When they attempted to check on Savita, her room was locked from the inside. Family members gained entry through a window and found her lifeless. Access to the main gate was further delayed due to the central locking system. Police were immediately informed, and both Mukesh and Savita were taken to GTB Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Investigation Underway:
Authorities are awaiting post-mortem reports to determine the exact cause of death and whether foul play was involved.
