Tragic Crash on Delhi–Lucknow Highway: Four MBBS Students from Venkateshwara University Killed as Speeding Car Rams Into DCM Truck

Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: A horrific road accident late Wednesday night on the Delhi–Lucknow National Highway claimed the lives of four MBBS students from Venkateshwara University. The high-speed car in which they were travelling crashed directly into a DCM truck near Atrasi village in the Rajabpur police station area.

Car Crushed in Violent Impact

The accident occurred around 10 p.m. in front of a restaurant near the flyover. According to police, a DCM heading toward Delhi had just crossed the flyover when a speeding car coming from behind rammed straight into it. The collision was so severe that the car was completely mangled, leaving all four occupants dead on the spot.

Victims Identified as 2020 MBBS Batch Students

Police identified the deceased as Arnav Chakraborty, Ayush Sharma, Shresth Pancholi and Saptrishi — all students of the 2020 MBBS batch at Venkateshwara University. The students belonged to Delhi and West Bengal. After receiving the alert, police teams led by CO City Abhishek Yadav and SHO Komal Tomar reached the site along with local residents to pull the bodies out of the wreckage.

University Officials Reach the Scene

Venkateshwara University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi also arrived at the spot with staff members. The bodies were sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Police have initiated an investigation and further legal action will follow.
