Satna, February 3:
A horrifying incident occurred on Kothi Road in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, late Monday night when a 45-year-old man was fatally injured by an iron wire strung across the road. The wire, tied to a tractor carrying a heavy mixer machine, struck Ramjas Chaudhary’s neck as he rode his bike, resulting in his instantaneous death. Two of his cousins, Arvind Chaudhary (38) and Ramprasad Chaudhary (40), riding with him, were seriously injured.
The accident occurred around 11 PM near Gadhia Tola cemetery. Poor visibility at night prevented the bikers from noticing the wire. The three cousins were en route to attend a family ceremony at their maternal cousin’s house in Bagha when the tragedy struck.
Police immediately arrived at the scene, took the deceased to the mortuary for postmortem, and admitted the injured to Satna District Hospital. Authorities have seized the tractor and mixer machine involved and launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
