Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh: A devastating road accident in Hardoi claimed the lives of three people, including a brother and sister, after their motorcycle was struck by a speeding dumper. The incident occurred near Dholia Chauraha in the Sursa area.
According to police sources, Adarsh Awasthi (20) of Fatiyapur, his sister Madhu Awasthi (23), and Kamini Pandey from Bawan Chungi, Hardoi, were traveling on a motorcycle towards Hardoi when a fast-moving dumper coming from the Hardoi side collided with them. The impact was so severe that all three were thrown onto the road and succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
The Hardoi police responded promptly, taking the bodies into custody for post-mortem examination. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Subodh Gautam stated that the dumper has been seized and a thorough investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
Authorities have urged drivers to adhere to speed limits and drive cautiously, especially on busy roads, to prevent such tragedies.
