
Khargone, Madhya Pradesh: A family’s joyous return from festivities turned into a tragedy in Khargone when a road accident claimed the lives of three members spanning three generations. A collision between a university bus and a two-wheeler resulted in the instantaneous death of a mother, her son, and her grandson.
The accident occurred on Monday evening in the Gogawa police station area when a private university bus, transporting students home, collided head-on with the two-wheeler carrying family members returning from a local celebration. The impact was so severe that 50-year-old Badal Bai, her 22-year-old son Arun, and her 9-year-old grandson Raj died on the spot. Another young relative, 7-year-old Tappu, was seriously injured and rushed to the district hospital for treatment.
Police Investigation Underway
Gogawa Police Station in-charge Mansaram Romde confirmed that all the victims on the two-wheeler were residents of Rampura in Mengaon police jurisdiction. The bus was on its regular route dropping college students home when the collision occurred. Authorities have registered a case against the bus driver, who has been taken into custody, and the bus has been seized for further investigation.
This tragic accident has left the local community in shock, highlighting the critical need for road safety awareness and strict traffic management in the region.
